Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Data Engineer at Experian, you will be responsible for delivering analytic data services, representing data expertise during business discussions, and directing the development of analytical products.

In Short

• Collaborate in planning, design, and testing of new attribute functionality.
• Analyze and confirm the integrity of source data.
• Develop scripting tools and strategies for deploying code in Python, Spark, or Scala.
• Translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis and data modeling for source to target mappings.
• Flexible work hours, preferably 10:00 – 19:00.

Requirements

• 3 years minimum experience in data manipulation analytics and modeling.
• Analytical skills and experience with regression methods and machine learning.
• Programming knowledge of Python, R, or SAS (Python is critical).
• Knowledge of consumer credit data or related financial services data.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Experience with BI Tools like Tableau and Power BI is an advantage.
