AP & AR Accounting Clerk - Remote

Overview

The AP & AR Accounting Clerk role is a detail-oriented position focused on processing vendor invoices and agent payments in a fully remote environment from South Africa.

In Short

• Process all vendor invoices and agent payments timely.
• Ensure proper coding and seek invoice approvals.
• Respond to Accounts Payable and Receivable inquiries.
• Process employee/agent expense reimbursements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end tasks.
• Conduct discrepancy research for payments.
• Monitor agent deductions and payments.
• Prepare and verify invoices for receivables.
• Check data input for invoice accuracy.
• Assist in identifying problem areas and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or QBE.
• 3+ years of accounts payable processing experience.
• 3+ years of accounts receivable processing experience.
• 2+ years with mid-tier accounting systems.
• Ability to collaborate and plan across organization.
• Ability to multitask and handle high volume processing.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to problem solve and identify inconsistencies.
