Overview

The Senior Accounting Clerk is responsible for a wide range of general accounting activities, ensuring financial compliance and accuracy in accounting while working closely with the Finance team.

In Short

  • Process accounts payable and receivable invoices.
  • Ensure timely payment and compliance with policies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department.
  • Document workflows and maintain procedures.
  • Interact with a diverse workforce.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Monitor internal controls effectiveness.
  • Process W9 forms and assist with IRS TIN checks.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Detail-oriented and quick to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with financial compliance.
  • Ability to organize large volumes of data.
