Accounting Clerk - Remote

Overview

As an Accounting Clerk you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day bookkeeping activities of our company. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records by following consistent and efficient bookkeeping processes. With your expertise in accrual accounting and GAAP standards, you will contribute to improved decision-making and help us achieve our strategic objectives.

• Execute day-to-day accrual accounting functions.
• Perform regular audits of financial records.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the payroll process and maintain accurate employee records.
• Collaborate with external auditors as necessary.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support.
• Track salaries, payroll taxes, and employee expense reimbursements.
• Ensure accurate month-end close.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software.
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting procedures for M&A.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or finance.
