Overview

The Claims Manager will be responsible for managing insurance claims, ensuring proper documentation, and providing support to clients throughout the claims process.

• Record claims and gather necessary information for case processing.
• Analyze claims to determine circumstances, causes, and extent of damage.
• Decide on damage amounts, consulting experts as needed.
• Ensure proper provision of claims and process validated indemnities.
• Manage recourse against opposing parties and follow up accordingly.
• Regularly review ongoing claims.
• Ensure smooth case management by coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate data entry in the IT system.
• Advise and support clients throughout their claims process.
• Keep clients informed about their claims status.

Requirements

• Knowledge of regulatory and legal provisions applicable to claims.
• Mastery of legal rules and professional agreements.
• Expertise in evaluation and settlement techniques.
• Proactive and available.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Good relational and writing skills.
• Education: Bac +2 in insurance or Bac +3/Professional license in insurance.
