Claims Manager - Remote

In Short

• Manage a team of adjusters handling Commercial Auto Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims.
• Assist in developing investigation strategies for claims resolution.
• Ensure high customer experience and claim file quality.
• Review coverage and liability declination decisions.
• Deliver exceptional service to policy holders, agents, and brokers.
• Participate in and facilitate claim reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on claims and risk factors.
• Perform other duties as required by the Head of Claims.

Requirements

• 10+ years of claims experience, with 5 years in commercial trucking.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Significant bodily injury and litigation claims experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to challenge norms and think outside the box.
• Experience in a remote environment handling claims in multiple jurisdictions.
• Licensed adjuster; NY & CA licenses are a bonus.
• Bachelor's degree or additional 4 years of experience.
