International Lawyer (Crypto / FinTech) - Remote

Overview

We are Evoplay, a leading IT company developing comprehensive B2B solutions for the online gaming industry. We are currently scaling an international Crypto project and looking for an International Lawyer capable of global thinking, structuring complexity, and being the legal brain of the project.

In Short

• Legal support for company operations in various jurisdictions (EU, North America).
• Corporate structuring and administration.
• Communication with external lawyers, accountants, and auditors regarding licensing and regulatory issues.
• Assistance in obtaining crypto licenses and other regulatory permits.
• Analysis of legal risks in contracts and their minimization.
• Preparation and review of internal policies (Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, MiCA documentation, etc.).
• Support for opening bank accounts and passing KYC/KYB with partners.
• Interaction with other departments (AML, GDPR, Product, Marketing, Support) on legal matters.
• Search and implementation of new legal models and solutions to optimize business processes.

Requirements

• Law degree from a Ukrainian university, international LL.M degree is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency is required (B2+).
• 3+ years of professional experience in Crypto, FinTech, corporate and international contract law.
• Understanding of MiCA regulations.
• Understanding of other Crypto / FinTech regulations (DORA, PSD2, DAC8, etc.) is an advantage.
• Understanding of VISA and Mastercard rules, PSD2, AML, and CTF is a plus.
• Experience working with VASP/CASP companies in various jurisdictions (EU, Canada, etc.) is a plus.
• Understanding of the crypto market (at a user level) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and meet deadlines.
