Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

Evolus is seeking an experienced and driven Data Engineer to join our Information Technology team. This role focuses on integrating data from various sources into a common warehouse data model, building and maintaining ELT data pipelines, and driving value to the business.

In Short

• Collaborate with team members to define analytics outcomes and design data models.
• Design and develop a Snowflake data warehouse using dbt or other ELT tools.
• Architect complex data engineering problems to deliver business insights.
• Own and deliver solutions from data ingestion to end-user consumption.
• Ensure sustained performance of data engineering pipelines.
• Manage source code and documentation for data engineering products.
• Identify and manage risks to the data engineering platform.
• Work in a hybrid schedule with remote days on Monday and Friday.
• Participate in planning and prioritization discussions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise data solutions.
• 4+ years in cloud-based data warehousing with strong SQL and Snowflake experience.
• Experience building data pipelines using Python and orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with data extraction/transformation/orchestration tools.
• Deep understanding of data analysis and modeling for visualization.
• Experience in DataOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience in business subject areas like healthcare or finance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
