Field Service Engineer - UK - Remote

Overview

This position involves providing installation, maintenance, and support for advanced microscopy products at customer sites across the UK.

In Short

• Carry out installation and commissioning of microscopy products.
• Supervise project management from delivery to installation.
• Provide post-sales support and technical assistance.
• Ensure maintenance operations on customer sites.
• Travel up to 5 days a week, with overnight stays.
• Comply with regulatory and security obligations.
• Maintain daily activity reports on technical acts performed.
• Engage in selling of services and support.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Work in a service role focused on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• University degree in STEM or similar qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in servicing electrical/electronic equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work non-scheduled hours.
• Experience with complex analytical instruments.
• Hands-on experience with opto-mechanical/electronic systems.
• Mandatory microscopy experience.
• Experience in technical after-sale service is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken.
