Overview

The Health Care Call Center Representative will provide dedicated support to patients and doctors regarding benefit coverage, payments, reimbursements, and general inquiries through our patient services support center.

In Short

  • Provide personalized support over the phone and online.
  • Investigate and answer questions about insurance benefits.
  • Assist with prior authorization and medical necessity processes.
  • Administer searches for alternate reimbursement resources.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and business partners.
  • Process patient assistance applications.
  • Maintain logs and records as required.
  • Act as the primary contact for healthcare providers.
  • Deliver results in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Must obtain a Missouri Pharmacy Technician license.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with relevant experience.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Customer service and/or call center experience preferred.
  • Experience in patient assistance and medical billing is a plus.
