Overview

The Senior Pharmacovigilance (PV) Physician I is responsible for medical review of ICSRs, writing and/or reviewing signal detection reports, and mentoring junior PV Physicians.

  • Responsible for medical review of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
  • Writing and reviewing signal detection reports.
  • Mentoring junior Pharmacovigilance Physicians.
  • Reviewing risk management reports.
  • Supporting the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance.
  • Conducting literature screening for safety-related findings.
  • Participating in signal detection activities.
  • Providing medical advice to project teams.
  • Preparing responses to regulatory authority requests.
  • Training and developing junior staff.

Requirements

  • Medically qualified as a physician.
  • Experience in pharmacovigilance.
  • Ability to review aggregate report types.
  • Expertise in signal detection activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-culturally and cross-functionally.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
