OA/CTS Specialist - Remote

Overview

The OA/CTS Specialist is responsible for recruiting eligible youth for the Job Corps Program, conducting outreach activities, and ensuring the timely placement of graduates into quality jobs or educational opportunities.

• Recruit eligible youth for Job Corps Program.
• Conduct outreach activities in communities and public events.
• Meet departmental and center goals.
• Conduct orientations and interviews with applicants.
• Manage applicant files and perform data entry.
• Participate in departmental meetings.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for applicants.
• Perform Quality Assurance Checks on applicant files.
• Assess placement readiness of graduates.
• Promote job development through employer contacts.

Requirements

• Above average public speaking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Computer literacy (Internet, email, Word).
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
• Ability to travel periodically.
• Experience working with youth ages 16-24.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in relevant fields.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
