Director Of Finance - Remote

Overview

The Director of Finance will provide critical financial and leadership services in the areas of financial strategy, financial planning, annual budgeting, receipt and disbursement of funds, accounting, procurement, and asset management.

In Short

• Lead and manage month-end close processes for accurate financial statements.
• Prepare monthly analysis on key financial statement accounts.
• Review and prepare complex corporate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Direct company financial planning and budget management functions.
• Prepare operating budget and forecasts.
• Recommend benchmarks for financial performance measurement.
• Oversee finance department operations including billing and collections.
• Assist in creating RFPs for new projects.
• Lead controllable expenses reporting and identify cost-saving trends.
• Facilitate financial audits and recommend procedural improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 9 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to manage a larger team and coach individual contributors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
