Overview

The Project Accountant is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting project financial status for multiple funding streams while ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Track and analyze project financial status for 5 funding streams.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and contractual obligations.
• Facilitate effective financial reporting and communication.
• Maintain understanding of revenue recognition and project invoicing.
• Support management and clients with financial insights.
• Oversee fiscal operations related to accounting and reporting.
• Perform month-end closing activities.
• Process payroll and accounts payable.
• Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts.
• Administer supplier contract terms and payments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with cost accounting or government fund accounting.
