Director of Finance - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a strategic, analytical, and hands-on Director of Finance to run the day-to-day financial operations and partner closely with the CFO and cross-functional leaders.

In Short

• Partner with Accounting for accurate month-end close and reconciliations.
• Drive monthly business-facing financial reporting and performance analyses.
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting.
• Drive annual budgeting and monitor budget performance.
• Understand inventory economics and cost analysis.
• Model omnichannel cash flow dynamics.
• Support capital strategy and financial reporting to investors.
• Present financial insights to senior leadership.
• Mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Experience with consumer product or ecommerce is a plus.

Requirements

• 7+ years of finance experience with FP&A or corporate finance.
• Proven track record in financial reporting and forecasting.
• Understanding of subscription business economics.
• Strong modeling and forecasting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Background in investment banking or strategic finance.
• Experience with M&A or capital raises is a plus.
• Exposure to public company processes is a plus.
• Cat person preferred!
