Data Engineer I - Remote

Overview

Equip is the leading virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program on a mission to ensure that everyone with an eating disorder can access treatment that works. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join us in creating solutions that yield meaningful insights, improve patient lives and help Equip grow.

In Short

• Build and maintain robust data models to support business needs.
• Ensure reliable delivery of high-quality data to analytics platforms.
• Design and implement data models for accessibility across teams.
• Optimize data infrastructure for new data sources.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
• Contribute to optimization, documentation, and tooling efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or analytical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Experience building large-scale data models.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language.
• Ability to write clear and testable code.
• Experience interpreting and contextualizing data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Organized and results-driven.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
