Overview

The Customer Support Generalist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in a growing Fiber Installation and Service Company.

In Short

  • Handle inbound phone calls and chats from customers, team members, and vendors.
  • Update and check information through data entry.
  • Submit 811 tickets in a timely manner.
  • Schedule customer orders and close-out jobs.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Adapt well to frequent changes and prioritize workloads.
  • Work initially in the Murfreesboro office with potential for remote opportunities.
  • Full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours a week.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Employment contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Prior work-related experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to adapt well to frequent changes and eager to learn.
  • Tech savvy and aware of fiber industry terminology and acronyms is preferred.
  • Proficient in Internet-related applications such as email and web browsers.
  • Understanding of laws and regulations regarding 811 before digging.
  • Ability to report to and operate out of the assigned office location daily.
