Fiber Splicing Technician - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a few Fiber Splicing Installation Professionals to perform fiber optic cable splicing and testing to ensure reliable, high-performance connectivity in main-line construction projects. This position will also install, prep and terminate fiber optic enclosures, panels and splice cases.

In Short

• Full-time position with a focus on fiber splicing and testing.

• Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours a week.
• Travel required, typically 3 weeks away and 1 week at home.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on fiber splicing experience.
• Familiarity with OTDR and light source testing.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in splicing and testing equipment.
• Able to meet physical requirements for outdoor work.
• Understanding of fiber color codes and splicing matrix sheets.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
