Directional Drill Locator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a few Driller Equipment Locators to assist the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crew by operating the locating system to guide the drill head along the designed bore path safely and accurately during fiber main-line construction. They are critical in preventing strikes to underground utilities, ensuring precision, and maintaining project timelines.

In Short

• Full-time position with a regular schedule of 40 hours a week.
• Work typically involves 3 weeks away and 1 week at home.
• Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• 100% travel required, in or out-of-state.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Prior experience operating a locator is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans and maps.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks in various conditions.
• Completion of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
