Overview

The Regional Sales Manager - Central is responsible for selling equipment or services in the stamping, forging, steel, paper, or aluminum industries in the southern Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee region.

In Short

  • Responsible for selling equipment and services in various metal industries.
  • Prospect and win competitive accounts to expand into key clients.
  • Develop sales forecasts and territory plans.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and operations.
  • Prospect on target accounts through cold calling and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams for customer experience.
  • Manage complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Maintain current clients while seeking new opportunities.
  • Work remotely within the assigned geographic sales region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business.
  • Minimum of 10 years sales experience in stamping and forging industries.
  • Experience with engineering and C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in ERP and CRM software.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to learn complex equipment.
