Lead and elevate Energage’s design practice to deliver unified, human-centered, and data-informed experiences across our unified people platform. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that shapes how design influences product vision, discovery, and delivery.

• Lead and advance a fully functioning UX design capability in an Agile Scrum team.
• Develop a team of designers focusing on their professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compelling user experiences.
• Chair Energage’s Front End Guild to advance customer experiences.
• Guide implementation of customer discovery and research techniques.
• Ensure effective design operations and infrastructures.
• Maintain a competitive edge against industry trends.
• Coach teams on user-centric designs through critiques and meetings.
• Develop goals and action plans for the team.
• Work within a dual-track agile product development process.

Requirements

• Proven record of leading design teams in commercial software.
• Expert knowledge of UX and research methodologies.
• Experience in Human-Computer Interaction or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of design experience with 3 years managing a team.
• Experience with design tools like Figma, InVision, and Sketch.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Desire for continual learning and personal development.
• Experience working closely with product management and engineering.
