Implementation Consultant - Government - Remote

Overview

The Implementation Consultant - Government is responsible for the successful installation of non-complex new retirement plans, acting as the project manager and consultant for conversion activities, while focusing on local Government plans under $75MM in assets.

In Short

• Lead the installation of new transfer or start-up retirement plans.
• Act as the primary contact during the conversion process.
• Perform weekly conference calls with various client contacts.
• Discuss service agreements and product features with plan sponsors.
• Review plan provisions for compliance services.
• Coordinate payroll file integration with plan sponsors.
• Facilitate asset transfer through communication with providers.
• Ensure strong attention to detail in all processes.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 1 - 2 years of implementation or retirement plan operations experience.
• Proficient knowledge of IRS codes including 401(k), 403(b), etc.
• Knowledge of IRS/DOL reporting.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and plan documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
