Overview

The Employee Relations Consultant works independently to support and guide managers on a wide range of employee relations matters while promoting a flexible work environment and a culture of internal mobility.

In Short

  • Support management on employee relations issues.
  • Conduct investigations and handle disciplinary actions.
  • Assist in responding to EEOC charges.
  • Provide coaching and conflict resolution.
  • Track trends and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on employment laws.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Municipal laws.
  • Collaborate on company policies and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Work in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of relevant work experience.
  • HR Generalist experience preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Subject matter expert on employment laws.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
