Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at U-Haul, you will assist customers with U-Haul products and services, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining equipment.

In Short

  • Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center.
  • Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot.
  • Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring.
  • Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
  • Participate in ongoing U-Haul education.
  • Work in a supportive team environment.
  • Receive on-the-job education and training.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a moderate risk environment.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment weighing at least 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to use protective clothing or gear.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Motivated and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work with technology and equipment.
