Part-time Controller (Proficient with QuickBooks) - Healthcare - Remote

Overview

The Controller will monitor financial and accounting status, review budgets, and manage accounting transactions for clients in a remote part-time role.

In Short

• Oversee and coordinate all financial & accounting activities.
• Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk.
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Conduct internal audits to assess financial status.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors.
• Prepare and file all required financial reports.
• Provide detailed financial reports to the CEO and Board.
• Work part-time in a flexible afternoon schedule.

Requirements

• Accounting or Finance degree (BS/BA/MBA).
• 7+ years of experience in accounting management.
• Preferred experience in Healthcare.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Proficient with QuickBooks and MS Office.
