Part-Time Controller - Healthcare - Remote

Overview

The Controller will monitor the financial and accounting status of EK Health Services, Inc., ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and managing accounting transactions for clients.

In Short

• Part-time position with afternoon schedule
• Work remotely
• Oversee financial and accounting activities
• Set controls and budgets to mitigate risks
• Manage accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Conduct internal audits
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors
• Prepare financial reports for CEO and Board

Requirements

• Accounting or Finance degree (BS/BA/MBA)
• 7+ years of experience in accounting management
• Preferred experience in Workers' Compensation, Managed Care, Healthcare
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• CPA preferred but not required
• Proficient with QuickBooks and MS Office (Excel)
