Overview

This position is an exciting opportunity to join EDF Heat Pumps, which is a well-established SME that has recently been acquired by EDF, providing investment and growth opportunities on a wider scale. The role is based in Clacton-On-Sea but we offer hybrid working.

In Short

  • Lead, develop and deliver health, safety & environmental best practices across EDF Heat Pumps.
  • Set HS&E standards and influence senior management for ZERO HARM.
  • Provide authoritative HS&E advice to Directors and leaders.
  • Support the development of strategy for systems, culture, and assurance.
  • Develop HS&E policies and procedures for compliance with legislation.
  • Strong leadership skills required.
  • Extensive knowledge of health, safety & environmental legislation.
  • Experience with ISO certifications and HS&E management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety & environmental legislation.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring HS&E management systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 certifications.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Chartered member of IOSH or working towards.
