Overview

As the Security Protected Plant Lead at EDF, you will coordinate and deliver the SPPI process across supported nuclear licensees, ensuring appropriate protection measures are in place to meet legal and regulatory requirements.

In Short

  • Coordinate the SPPI process for nuclear licensees.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Manage submissions through the ONR Security Directorate.
  • Ensure accuracy of SPPI files through regular reviews.
  • Support Licensees in developing temporary alternate security plans.
  • Act as a key link between Nuclear Security and Design Authority teams.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Present complex technical information clearly.
  • Maintain high standards in documentation and communication.
  • Knowledge of UK nuclear security regulations is desirable.

Requirements

  • Experience in security or nuclear fields.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation to a high standard.
  • Good working knowledge of security systems.
  • Experience in regulated environments.
  • High level of computer literacy and numeracy.
  • Ability to operate confidently across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of civil nuclear nuances.
  • British residency for the last 5 years required for Security Clearance.
