Security Protected Plant Lead - Remote

Overview

As a Security Protected Plant Lead at EDF, you will coordinate and deliver the SPPI process across supported nuclear licensees, ensuring appropriate protection measures are in place and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

In Short

• Lead the delivery of the SPPI program across all phases of the nuclear lifecycle.
• Oversee production and submission of SPPI files and supporting documentation.
• Manage submissions through the ONR Security Directorate’s assessment process.
• Ensure SPPI files are accurate and current through regular reviews.
• Support Licensees in developing temporary alternate security plans.
• Act as a key link between Nuclear Security and Design Authority teams.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Maintain high standards in technical documentation and reporting.
• Knowledge of UK nuclear security regulations is desirable.
• Ability to work confidently across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Experience in security or the nuclear industry.
• Track record of producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Good working knowledge of physical, personnel, and cyber security systems.
• Experience in regulated environments.
• High level of computer literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Knowledge of UK nuclear security regulations and legislation.
• British residency for the last 5 years for security clearance.
