Safety Manager - Remote

Overview

The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing worksite safety, implementing and maintaining safety programs, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations during construction projects.

• Full-time position overseeing safety at construction sites.
• Implement and maintain safety programs for Design-Builder and subcontractors.
• Conduct safety training and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform jobsite inspections to identify risks.
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
• Develop Project Safety and Health Plans.
• Must have relevant certifications in safety practices.
• Requires 10+ years of experience in construction safety.
• Remote position open to candidates in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, D.C.
• Salary range is $98,100 - $196,200.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in construction safety.
• 5+ years in transit construction safety preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• First Aid and CPR Certification required.
• Experience with industrial hygiene equipment.
• Ability to conduct safety training courses.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Travel requirements of 10-25%.
• Must obtain necessary security clearance.
