Our client is a campaigning agency that aims to defend democracy on social media. Their goal is to achieve a shift in the online discourse to counteract right-wing propaganda. They are supporting pro-democratic initiatives from small to large, from local to international in their efforts in campaigning, community building, strategy, messaging, and analytics.

The growing tech team is at the core of the strategy as they are building the future of video-based digital campaigning for platforms like TikTok.

We’re looking for a skilled and mission-driven AI Engineer (m/f/d) to join us and build cutting-edge systems that make a real-world difference.

In Short

• Develop and deploy AI-powered tools for real-time social media and video campaigning
• Build and fine-tune machine learning models (e.g., for content classification, sentiment analysis, recommendation systems)
• Design automated content moderation systems using LLMs and computer vision techniques
• Create real-time analytics pipelines to measure campaign performance and engagement
• Collaborate closely with strategists, creatives, and developers to bring AI solutions to life
• Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, fairness, and ethical impact

Requirements

• Experience integrating and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) in production environments
• Strong background in machine learning and data science (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)
• Proficient in Python and experienced with building and maintaining ML pipelines
• Skilled in deploying ML models using cloud platforms (especially GCP) and Docker
• Understanding of data privacy, AI ethics, and bias mitigation strategies
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment; familiar with CI/CD, GitLab, and ML DevOps practices
• Passionate about using technology for social impact and democratic resilience
• German in C1/C2 level
