AI Engineer - Remote

Overview

Dash is working on another rare-to-find role! On behalf of our client, an international fintech startup, we're hiring an AI Engineer who's excited to take ownership of AI-powered features and bring intelligence into real-world finance.

In Short

• Build and train machine learning models for finance use cases (forecasting, anomaly detection, recommendations).
• Experiment with LLMs and generative AI APIs to enhance user experience and automate workflows.
• Contribute across the AI lifecycle from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
• Work in a modern AI stack (Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, ETL pipelines, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, Weights & Biases, Hugging Face).
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate AI into a Node.js-based platform.
• Monitor deployed models, retrain/tune as data evolves, and set up testing and explainability frameworks.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience building or deploying AI/ML systems.
• Strong Python skills, with a good grasp of data structures, APIs, and modeling techniques.
• Experience with structured datasets, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Basic backend knowledge (REST APIs, Node.js services, data integrations).
• Curiosity about financial systems and how AI can drive smarter decisions.
• Collaborative mindset and strong sense of ownership able to work autonomously with the right attitude, attitude, attitude.
