Overview

The AI Engineer role at Neon One is a foundational hire to help scale a brand-new data and AI platform. You will work alongside a team to deploy production-ready AI systems that power real-time insights for the nonprofit sector.

In Short

• Develop, test, and refine prompts across various LLMs.
• Collaborate with product owners for AI use case design.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Contribute to machine learning training workflows.
• Integrate AI with core data systems like Snowflake.
• Implement MLOps pipelines using cloud tooling.
• Use AWS AI services for AI-powered solutions.
• Define templates for future AI use cases.

Requirements

• 3+ years in software engineering or machine learning.
• Experience in building and deploying AI systems.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries.
• Experience with complex datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI services.
• Ability to work independently in unstructured environments.
