Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA, working remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Netherlands, Sweden, and Spain. This role involves improving our Cloud Management Platform product and implementing new features.

In Short

• Work on improving DoiT Cloud Management Platform product.
• Implement new features in DoiT Flexsave and DoiT Insights.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers from other teams.
• Co-own the roadmap and backlog of the product.
• Review code and participate in code reviews.
• Improve the health of the codebase and manage technical debt.
• Provide feedback during team planning discussions.
• 8+ years of software development experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English are essential.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience as a Backend engineer.
• Knowledge of cloud services and their optimization.
• Understanding of programming languages, ideally Go.
• Experience in system design.
• Embrace continuous development and learning.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Self-organized and goal-oriented individual.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
