As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will develop expert knowledge and proficiency in our offerings and be a subject matter expert in one of the most critical technologies in our industry today. You will be a key technical advisor to Docker customers as they change how they Build, Ship, and Run their applications for enterprise customers.

In Short

• Drive the technical evaluation stage of the sales process.
• Be a key technical advisor to the sales team and customers.
• Engage with customers to document their requirements.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and demos.
• Manage proofs of concepts with prospects.
• Communicate customer needs and feedback to internal teams.
• Provide technical leadership throughout sales processes.
• Foster effective sales relationships through travel.
• Support customer success with Docker solutions.
• Collaborate with a remote team across time zones.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical sales of distributed systems.
• Operational experience with Docker-based platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies.
• Development experience in scripting or application development.
• Significant experience with Linux.
• Exceptional communication skills for technical audiences.
• Passion for learning new technologies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes preferred.
• Willingness to travel to clients.
• CS degree is a plus.
