Overview

The Federal Capture Manager will be responsible for managing and executing capture strategies for federal opportunities, focusing on RFI and RFP responses.

In Short

  • Lead and manage federal capture efforts, including RFIs, RFPs, and other solicitations.
  • Develop and implement capture strategies, including competitive analysis, teaming, and solution development.
  • Write and edit high-quality content for proposals, white papers, and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with business development, solution architects, and proposal teams to craft winning responses.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a capture pipeline, tracking progress and key milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and solicitation requirements.
  • Support color team reviews, proposal development, and oral presentations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in federal capture management, proposal writing, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of the federal procurement lifecycle, including FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • Proven success in leading and supporting capture efforts for federal contracts.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling proposals.
  • Experience with federal procurement databases such as SAM.gov, GovWin, or FPDS.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal development tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
