Product Senior Backend / Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

DigestAID is a startup focused on the development of Artificial Intelligence solutions for application to several fields of digestive health. Our main drive is to overcome the diagnostic limitations of multiple endoscopic methods, from capsule endoscopy to digital cholangioscopy. We have secured seed funding, and we are looking for top talent interested in working in AI for good, who have the drive to take the business to new heights and deliver new products.

In Short

• This will be the first hire of a Product Senior Backend / Infrastructure Engineer.
• You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, designers, and medical doctors.
• Develop, optimize, and implement interface solutions for AI models.
• Contribute to creating state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's / Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend / Infrastructure Engineer.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Strong understanding of web concepts and technologies (HTTP, RESTful APIs).
• Experience with web frameworks such as Node.js.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
