Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Revenue Accountant will drive the end to end revenue recognition process in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606 under a high growth SaaS revenue model.

In Short

• Oversee and contribute to the Company's revenue recognition framework.
• Partner with Billing team for accurate revenue posting.
• Execute the SaaS revenue recognition accounting model.
• Develop strategies to improve revenue management accuracy.
• Establish internal finance controls based on best practices.
• Implement technical tools to reduce manual processes.
• Collaborate on new product introduction and revenue considerations.
• Work with management on new business arrangements.
• Assist in ad-hoc revenue related accounting activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Minimum of 1 year in revenue accounting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships in a remote environment.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
• Work hours aligned with US Pacific Time zone.
