Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

Procore is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our Revenue Accounting team. This role will play a critical role assisting in the revenue close, account reconciliations, preparation of various analytical reports for both international and domestic revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable, and reconciling ARR.

In Short

• Hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite at the Costa Rica office and 2 days remote.
• Responsible for timely and accurate completion of assigned month, quarter, and year-end revenue-related close items.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis.
• Partner with upstream teams related to key controls and revenue impact analysis.
• Prepare complex spreadsheets utilizing analytical tools.
• Assist with SOX and financial audits.
• Mine data and analyze trends while explaining variances.
• Follow appropriate treatment for US GAAP revenue recognition.
• Work with the Revenue Accounting team on various accounting matters.
• Collaborate with the Finance team on ad hoc research and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
• 3+ years of progressive global accounting experience.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.
• Experience with ASC 606/SaaS revenue recognition is a plus.
• Prior experience with accounting software applications is a plus.
