Revenue Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Revenue Accountant at dbt Labs, you will manage the revenue recording process, oversee revenue recognition, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes.

In Short

• Review and manage the revenue recording process for self-service transactions.
• Assess the revenue accounting impact of non-standard revenue contracts.
• Implement revenue recognition processes using data build tools.
• Maintain key systems integrations and validate data accuracy.
• Perform reconciliations of revenue accounts during month-end close.
• Manage sales tax activities including reconciliation and reviewing returns.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably revenue accounting.
• Basic understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and strong problem-solving skills.
