Trainee - Unix to Linux Application Support - Remote

Overview

This position is for a trainee role focused on supporting Unix server-side applications and involves interaction with application administrators and clients.

In Short

• Provide 2nd level operational support for various business-specific Unix applications.
• Plan, monitor, and coordinate application version changes, migrations, and hardware changes.
• Coordinate client requirements and execute them efficiently.
• Learn and apply ITIL processes during the application support lifecycle.
• Maintain professional communication with client IT professionals.

Requirements

• Ongoing IT studies with active student status (or under 25 and passive).
• Availability for at least 20 hours of work per week.
• At least intermediate German language skills and basic English knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
