SDWAN Network Engineer - 2nd Level Operations - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Software Defined Network Engineer to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and troubleshooting network environments for multiple customers in an international context.

In Short

• Manage network administration tasks independently.
• Support new customer site implementations.
• Independently handle 2nd level tasks in daily operations.
• Monitor network solutions and prepare tickets for issues.
• Document issues and diagnose problems.
• Resolve logged problems and manage changes.
• Generate problem tickets for complex issues.
• Collaborate on configuration management changes.
• Coordinate with local field service on customer sites.
• Work within a diverse international team.

Requirements

• Proven ability in managing network administration tasks.
• Experience with Silver Peak Smart SD-WAN operation.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Profound knowledge in TCP/IP and WAN protocols.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
• Bsc. degree in IT or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in network administration.
• Knowledge of CISCO and Juniper.
• CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.
