Network Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

NVIDIA is looking for a Network Operations Engineer to support and maintain our cloud network infrastructure, engaging in various network-related tasks and collaborating across teams.

In Short

• Support and maintain cloud network infrastructure.
• Remediate critical alerts within defined SLAs.
• Triage production impacting network incidents.
• Engage with internal customers on network issues.
• Collaborate with external vendors for hardware/software issues.
• Participate in network device upgrades and capacity enhancements.
• Engage in 24/7 global shift rotations for remote support.
• Drive operational improvements in change management.
• Utilize skills in Peering and Datacenter interconnect technologies.
• Document best practices and develop workflow enhancements.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other protocols.
• Over 4 years of experience in network operations.
• Skilled in network troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong track record of alert response and incident management.
• Experience with cloud service provider environments.
• Familiarity with Arista, Fortinet, and Juniper.
• Hands-on experience with tooling and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Mellanox/Cumulus OS is a plus.
