Overview

The Network Operations Engineer is responsible for the performance and availability of Compute and Network infrastructure across all business segments, focusing on monitoring and automation capabilities.

In Short

  • Respond quickly to critical service outages.
  • Establish performance baselines and capacity thresholds.
  • Develop automated solutions to prevent service interruptions.
  • Perform network troubleshooting for WAN and LAN.
  • Execute WAN/LAN patching tasks and configurations.
  • Implement device hardening for network security.
  • Assist in deploying Cisco SDWAN, LAN, and WiFi technologies.
  • Monitor network performance and optimize as needed.
  • Collaborate with teams on network-related projects.
  • Document network configurations and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in network operations.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required.
  • CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge preferred.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with Cisco technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies.
