The Government Programs Customer Service Representative at Delta Dental is responsible for responding to member, client, and provider inquiries, ensuring accurate communication of eligibility, benefits, and claims status while adhering to regulatory requirements.

In Short

  • Fully remote position with hybrid training.
  • Respond to inquiries via telephone, email, and other channels.
  • Communicate eligibility, benefits, claim status, and payment information.
  • Document all relevant details in the customer relationship management system.
  • Meet or exceed quality standards and call center metrics.
  • Assist callers with grievance and claims appeals processes.
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of personal computers and software applications required.
  • Comprehensive benefits package offered.

Requirements

  • Ability to work an assigned eight-hour schedule, Monday through Friday.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid is a plus.
  • Successful completion of various customer service assessments.
