Overview

The Head of Content will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with DeleteMe’s brand and business goals.

In Short

• Develop and manage a content calendar for all social media platforms, the company blog, email newsletters, and press releases.
• Write and produce compelling, original content on topics related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and personal security online.
• Collaborate with PR and marketing teams to create press materials and develop stories to push to the media.
• Create engaging video content for social channels and other platforms to educate and attract target audiences.
• Increase DeleteMe’s social media presence and engagement through strategic content distribution and community engagement.
• Analyze content performance metrics and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all platforms.
• Stay current on industry trends, news, and emerging content platforms to continuously adapt and improve content strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in content strategy, writing, and storytelling with a focus on cybersecurity, data privacy, or technology-related topics.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and experience growing an online presence for a brand.
• Demonstrated experience in video production, from scripting to publishing, and knowledge of video editing tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with PR, social media, and marketing teams.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and how to implement them into content creation.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
