Business Intelligence Analyst - Remote

Overview

This role is responsible for developing and scaling business intelligence and analytics capabilities, overseeing both technical and strategic aspects of BI to support decision-making.

• Develop and maintain robust dbt models and data marts using advanced SQL.
• Use Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
• Collaborate with data warehousing teams for seamless data integration.
• Design and manage dashboards using BI tools for actionable insights.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends and deliver recommendations.
• Present insights through compelling visualizations and reports.
• Act as a BI liaison across teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Advocate for BI best practices including automation and standardization.
• Requires domestic and international travel.
• Experience in B2B and/or B2C environments preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in BI, Data Analysis, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in Tableau, dbt (with strong SQL), and Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL processes and data models.
• Strong data storytelling and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of business functions and key metrics.
• Nice to have: Experience with Python or scripting languages.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
