This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for an Administrative Legal Assistant to join our team in our Seattle office.

In Short

  • Assist legal assistants and other administrative staff with administrative tasks.
  • Complete attorney time entry and prepare/organize binders/notebooks.
  • Organize files (paper and electronic) and maintain electronic document files.
  • Coordinate/schedule messenger, overnight delivery or courier services.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and CLE registration.
  • Run conflicts checks and open new client and matter files.
  • Prepare, submit, and track expense reimbursement reports.
  • Communicate clearly with team members on project status.
  • Attend training classes and adhere to attendance schedules.
  • Work in a team-oriented, service-focused environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience in a professional office preferred.
  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and accurate.
  • Ability to accurately type 50+ wpm.
  • Excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to follow client confidentiality guidelines.
