Python Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

You will join the significant R&D teams in Cambridge that create and improve the products behind the company’s rapid growth. Our software engineers work across a wide variety of projects and with a diverse toolset.

In Short

• Contributing to projects ranging from the rapid prototyping of new ideas.
• Working to the solid structured development of existing platforms.
• Furthering our unique methodology in defending against unknown cyber-attacks.
• Encouraging creativity in approach as much as traditional project-based development.
• Core competency in Python development with opportunities to specialize in other technologies.
• Hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

Requirements

• Solution-focused mindset with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to program using Python and understanding of production code.
• Comfortable working autonomously and cooperatively within a team.
• Knowledge or interest in cyber-security / malware forensics.
• Experience with statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Knowledge of cloud computing environments is beneficial.
• Experience with other programming languages like JavaScript, Rust, and C++ is beneficial but not essential.
