Overview

The Technical Service Account Manager at IFF will be responsible for providing technical service and support to customer accounts within the Carbohydrate Processing and Fuel Alcohol markets, focusing on optimizing enzyme and yeast performance.

In Short

  • Provide technical service to existing and new customer accounts.
  • Optimize enzyme/yeast performance through plant visits.
  • Conduct process audits and lab analysis.
  • Train customers on product selection and application optimization.
  • Analyze process and lab data for improvement recommendations.
  • Develop tools or models for data analysis.
  • Execute account plans and assess business development opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Travel 50% or more for customer visits.
  • Work in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in science or technical discipline or relevant experience.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in an industrial biotechnical environment.
  • Outstanding analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Office; JMP or other statistical program preferred.
  • Strong customer service focus and relationship development skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more.
